41st Livingston County Trap League

ATA Road Runner Marathon Saturday, September 13, 2025

Hello and thanks for your interest in the LCTL Road Runner. The directors of the LCTL are excited to present the 41st LCTL Road Runner!  The tradition continues as teams shoot for the coveted Road Runner Trophies.

If you are unfamiliar with the LCTL Road Runner, it is a 400 registered target event, held at clubs who are hosts in the LCTL. It is a fun event with trophies for 5 individual classes plus High Gun, Vet, Lady, and Junior. There are trophies for the high scratch team and a high handicapped team. All teams will be classified and given a handicap based on the 2025 and 2026 ATA averages.

Enclosed are the rules and an application for the 2025 Road Runner Marathon.  Thanks for all the past support. See you in September!

Please read the enclosed materials carefully to ensure you reserve a spot for your team.  If you have any questions, I may be reached as follows:

1.     This event will be shot as a five (5) man team- 28 team maximum.

2.     Four hundred (400) solid orange top White Flyer Targets will be thrown at the following clubs:  Mt. Morris, Mumford, Conesus Lake, and Springwater. One hundred (100) targets will be shot at each of four (4) clubs.  This is a long day that depends on shooter cooperation to finish on time.  Teams must arrive at each club on time and be ready to shoot when your squad is called.

3.     Starting times will be 8:30 AM, 8:50 AM, and 9:20 AM.  Club shooting rotation will be as listed above. Club rotation will be based on last year’s rotation.

4.     Cost is $127 per Team member. This includes targets and all fees. If your team enters and does not show up for the event, the total entry fee minus $150.00 will be refunded to the team captain.

5.     It is the team captain’s responsibility to ensure the application and check are returned before the deadline (9/10) and that team member’s addresses and squad positions are correct.  Starting time and starting club will be returned to the team captain only.  It is also the team captain’s responsibility to inform other team members of starting time, club, and squad position.

6.     Classification by the shoot committee will be done after September 10 and will be based on your 2025 ATA average, and targets shot to date in 2026, and known ability.  A minimum 400 16-yard targets will be required on your 2025 and 2026 cards to be classified.  Penalty classification will be no lower than class B.

7.     Team handicap trophies will be awarded.  The number of team handicap targets assigned will be based on individual averages, with assigned penalties if shooter minimum target requirements (400) are not met.  The handicap system will remain the same as previous years.

8.     All team and individual ties will be decided by reverse score of 400’s (team) or 100’s (individual).

9.     Only one individual trophy per shooter.

10. Options MUST be paid with the application.  All payouts will be to individual shooters by mail.  Options are:
